EXOR Studios announced the PC-driving game, Zombie Driver HD, is soon to be released upon the zombie-crazed fans of XBOX Live Arcade, Playstation Network and mobile devices almost two years to the day the game was announced to be released on the PC platform. Apparently the game has been expanded to include new game modes including a new camera system, expanded campaign mode, newly created boss battles and more to encourage your hard-earned money. The exact date of release is unknown, however, the studio lists “late 2011” as its ultimate destination. And by looking at the official webpage, seems there’s most likely an upcoming DLC to to be released as well.

I feel torn when it comes to Zombie video games. On one hand, I’d love for the general population to have a variety of video games that offer different perspectives and experiences to kill the undead population. However, on the other hand, it seems like so many games are currently cashing in on the zombie phenomenon, offering totally random zombie modes to an otherwise non-zombie title. Seems like cheapening a brand name just to sell more copies. I’m looking your way: Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Red Dead Redemption and Borderlands, among others.

From the screen-shots, feels like Dead Rising + Vigilante 8 = Zombie Driver HD
