I’m very excited to return to South Florida for the first time in about seven years, and this visit will be like no other. I’ll be attending Fatality Fest this weekend and not even a tropical storm can dampen my fun. The convention is jam-packed with a ton of events, celebrity guests, movie screenings and all sorts of mayhem.
Early arrival will be necessary so we can arrive for the pre-Show Zombie Walk at Mellow Mushroom before lumbering over to the convention’s Opening Ceremonies. Zombies In My Blog will definitely be on the scene for all the main events. Tune in to our Twitter feed, where we’ll detail all the fun we’re having.
Men in Suits, Girls Gone Dead and The Splat Pack are just a few movie screenings to attend (each one is followed by a Q & A with their respective filmmakers).
Throughout the day, each day, different events are highlighted, including Grim Reaper Reptiles, a Yelp Photobooth, face painting, a silent auction and more.
And then, there’s the celebrity guests! We’ll be on the lookout to attend all the awesome panels hosted by them throughout the weekend. In addition to the panels, we hope to get some great celebrity interviews. Just to name a few celebrities we hope to visit include Ernie Hudson, Scott Spiegel, Joe Bob Briggs, Jen & Sylvia Soska, April Burril and Jimmyo Burril, Andrew Bryniarski, Christopher Judge, Debbie Rochon, Vernon Wells, Butch Patrick and many, many more.
In addition to all the above, there will be many vendors and exhibitors, parties, special events and more! It’s gonna be a bloody good time!
