Nashville Wizard World

Per Matt
This weekend, Stan Lee, Norman Reedus, The Incredible Hulk and The Fonz will all be appearing in the Music City (along with many others) at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con 2013.

Appearing at the Music City Center from October 18-20, the convention will feature celebrity guests, pop-culture icons, comic-book superheroes and many more! Fans can expect to get their minds blown from all the festivities happening throughout the weekend.

Some of the featured events include:
– Meet and greets with celebrities and a yoga class taught by Sara Underwood
– Official Parties on Friday (at Mercy Lounge) and Saturday (at Coyote Ugly) nights
– Costume contests judged by celebrity cosplayers
– Wizard World Comic Con Film Festival
– Army of Darkness movie screening, hosted by Bruce Campbell
– Superman-themed panels hosted by author Larry Tye, Dean Cain and Neal Adams
– video-game tournaments (Injustice and many more)
– Sunday is a Kids Day, with many activities aimed at the younglings
– Many, many cosplayers! All costumed characters are encouraged to swing by the Cosplay Stage

Many celebrities will be hosting panels, along with signing autographs and posing for photo-ops.

Personally, I can’t wait to see Norman Reedus and Chandler Riggs (of The Walking Dead), Henry Winkler (Happy Days, Arrested Development), Ray Park (Star Wars and many more), Neal Adams (Batman, Superman), Peter Mayhew and Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars) and local special-effects wizard Rick Prince (Face Off, Nashville Nightmare).

– Saturday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
– Sunday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
