Apparently, the Zombies have spoken. Because of the positive public feedback given to the initial details of the 2014 Nashville Zombie Walk, this year’s route has been extended!
According to my sources, Nashville city officials paid very close attention to the public reaction of the Nashville Zombie Walk Facebook page over the past few days. And since they liked what they saw (aka people being positive about the upcoming event), event coordinators have been given the greenlight to expand the walk!!!
That means this year’s walk will now begin on Malloy and 2nd Ave. and disperse at the fountain, before Public Square Park.
Initially, this year’s walk was going to be shortened. But now, the walk is the exact same length as last year’s event!
This is a green event and everyone is asked to please clean up after themselves. In the past few Nashville Zombie Walks, some attendees have left makeup messes throughout the streets and on public property. So, if there are any more similar incidents that happen, my sources say this will be the final year for the event.
Even Zombie herds can play nice! Have fun out there, everyone!
