Fast forward to this week, and airing on The Simpsons was the episode Homer Goes to Prep School, which aired on January 6, 2013. In this episode, Homer gets involved with The Springfield Preppers, an extreme survivalist group led by Guest Star, Tom Waits.
Homer Goes to Prep School was written by Brian Kelley, whose name I don’t recognize, but I eagerly await his next script. With The Simpsons addressing a possible future apocalypse — whether it be zombie or not — I’m excited to see how our favorite family of Springfield adjusts to the future turmoil.
