RAW Nashville featured Kaleidoscope, which combined its first-ever pin-up runway show, greaser cars on display, artists, photography, musicians and poetry performance. It was definitely a visual arts performance for natural-born artists.
The Kaleidoscope experience was highly successful. Everything from the art on display, to the music being performed, to the pin-up models walking the runway was a joy to experience. I especially enjoyed The Whiskey Conspiracy’s Southern Rock and the styles of Brittani Lopez.
RAW is a global-arts organization that promotes independent artists via bimonthly showcases throughout the country. If Kaleidoscope is any precursor to upcoming RAW shows, I can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next!
